Part 2 of 2
Part 2 of Canine Massage Fundamentals takes you into the classroom for intensive hands-on practice and continued exploration of the how-to of palpation skills, proper application of fundamental massage techniques, passive range of motion, and more. You'll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of live dogs while receiving real-time guidance, feedback, and support from your instructor. After completing Part 2, you'll receive your certificate of completion for the entire course.

Trust and Relationship-Building with Dogs (Parts 1 & 2) and Canine Massage Fundamentals (Part 1) must be completed before you attend Day 1 of this workshop.

CE hours available for RACE, NCBTMB, and NBCAAM.

Our Virginia-based workshops take place at Just Cats Clinic in Reston, VA.

Just Cats Clinic is located in Lake Anne Plaza. Recently named to the National Register of Historic Places, Lake Anne Plaza is the historic “heart and soul” of Reston, Virginia and the center of local living in the Reston community. Reminiscent of a European coastal village where people live, work, and play, this spectacular community is nestled around Lake Anne.

Once you've completed Parts 1 & 2 of Trust and Relationship-Building with Dogs and Canine Massage Fundamentals, the next step is the Physical Dog.

Physical Dog, Parts 1 & 2 will expand your knowledge of canine anatomy and physiology, and help you understand what "normal" (and not normal) looks like in a dog's structure and movement.
