Canine Massage Fundamentals

Canine massage therapy is not the same as human massage therapy.  While the concepts and techniques are similar, canine massage requires unique knowledge and skills to effectively and safely practice.

In Part 1, you'll learn key massage concepts, including massage background, palpation theory, scope of practice, and proper documentation. You'll also begin your journey into canine anatomy and physiology.

Canine Massage Fundamentals Part 2 takes you into the classroom for intensive hands-on practice and continued exploration of the how-to of palpation skills, proper application of fundamental massage techniques, passive range of motion, and more. You'll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of live dogs while receiving real-time guidance, feedback, and support from your instructor.

Canine Massage Fundamentals - Part 1

Part 1 of this course takes place online and prepares you for the in-class practical portion.  

Learn key massage concepts, including massage background, palpation theory, scope of practice, and proper documentation. You'll also begin your journey into canine anatomy and physiology.  Must be taken before Part 2. 

Canine Massage Fundamentals - Part 2

Part 2 takes you into the classroom for intensive hands-on practice and continued exploration of the how-to of palpation skills, proper application of fundamental massage techniques, passive range of motion, and more. After completing Part 2, you'll receive your certificate of completion for the entire course.
